A boiler, it is difficult to cope with the management of shower.
big rooms and enough space, the lift
room was unclean and old furniture
Its location and Breakfast which really was cheap and GOOD.Staff was courteous and quite helpful.
Rooms and the Hotel gives a look of rundown place. Its decor etc is really atrocious compared to so many hotels I stayed in Europe. We had booked a double room but on arrival but were given room with twin beds in linear fashion and this room really looked like a cell in jail rather than room in a hotel. There is neither internet facility nor telephone facility which is quiet strange.
for Vienna price was acceptable
the rooms are quite spartanic, and needed redecorating.
All the rooms are large and clean. All the rooms have self heating unit so no problem about cold. The hotel is on a 3 minute walk from a U Bahn station.
The breakfast can be a good idea for 3 euro/person but you don't have to expect only basic things from your breakfast.
Late check in. Friendly receptionist, has gave some usefull info about city.
although advertised wireless internet did not work in the room, only in the dining room.
Bathroom and hall hotel with bad smelt (olor)
I was very much satisfied with the hotel because I got what I had expected. The breakfast was even more than one could manage.
near to the center, near to concord card casino , comfortable and quiet room
good breakfast, comfortable beds, clean bathroom,
not too close from the centre,
The hotel staffs are nice and friendly. The location is good. People who stay at this hotel are international.
Only perk about this hotel was that the location was close to u1 subway.
Wireless was unstable and only available in reception area, which closes at 10pm. The location was in a minority district of Vienna where there are few English-speakers. The room were facing a major street, so the cars and walkerby was quite noisy at night, even with the windows closed. The third floor was quite hot at night, which prompts people to keep the windows open. This made sleeping difficult at night. The interiors between different rooms were very inconsistent.
The spacious room
The rudeness of the person behind the counter. We arrived at 10.10pm, he said he had waited up for us - no problem. We went to our room but the hallway was dark and I dropped the card key when trying to insert it in the door. Unfotunately it fell under the door and I was not able to retrieve it. My husband went downstairs to get another key and was told it would be 5 euros, but my husband didnt pay it but still got the key and we returned the spare key immediately. Next morning put key card in door after breakfast but it broke in half. My husband went downstairs and asked for another key and was told it would cost another 5 euros. My husband got another key. When we went to leave we gave back the broken key and the spare key. My husband and I said we were not paying 5 euors for a key that was most likely brittle and suffered from over-use. The man beind the counter was very upset and said we already had two new keys. I explained that last night we dropped the key because the hall was dark and that he did not tell us it would be dark or where the light switch was - and that we gave him back the second key. He said we already had two new keys - I said they are not new keys they are jsut spare keys cards and he could not prove they were new cards because they certainly looked like old cards to me. He was still angry and my husband said "well call the police, if you are not happy" - and went to exit the premises. The man behind the counter said to my husband not to talk to him and then walk away and he then proceeded to come around the counter and threaten my husband. There was an older man at the door whom we assumed to be the owner or father of the angry man and he kindly ushered us out as well as at the same time trying to calm the angy man down who wanted to hit my husband. We got out the door and then the angry man followed us and was rude to my husband whom I said to keep on walking and ignore the angry man.
good area. close to metro station and 3 stops from the city center. free wireless. friendly staff, clean, big room.
Only ten minutes on the metro from the center, so location at this price very good. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable but rather basic. The breakfast at 3 euros is a gift. Staff friendly and local amenities good.
